THE VISION

The client was looking to extend and modernise the property whilst retaining and adding to the character of the house and creating extensive new spaces for entertaining, both indoors and out.

We built a single storey rear extension to create a large family space ideal for communal dining, with a balcony above leading off the master bedroom. We were able to modernise the house while retaining the character and charm by utilising underfloor heating and encasing the steel beams in hollowed out oak to create an aesthetic level of detail in keeping with the rest of the property.

A substantial rear patio was installed to connect the main house with a new pool house that incorporated a bar and games room alongside the outdoor swimming pool to create a multi-functional entertaining space.
